“ Really nice little cafe. Bright and colourful and the girl serving from South Africa was really friendly! We only ordered drinks and some chips to eat outside (17.08.24 about 15:25) and we were served quickly. Chips were brought out to the table for us outside so we didn’t need to wait for them. Will definitely go back - the burgers that the chef was cooking looked DELICIOUS and so did the chicken wings that we saw them taking out! ”
“ Man... after a non well morning I was looking for a spot just to be just with my self, have some food and try to make the most of this beautiful sunny day. I found this hidden Gem East Brighton Cafe,( South African/ Indian cousine )in the middle of East Brighton Park, where I could enjoy the massive green space they got in front and a beautiful walk in the beautiful nature, it did help me a lot pushing true my day :) I had a beautiful home made dirty chicken Naan with an amazing samosa and the signature Chilly Jam that is made in house, oh Lord just so fantastic full of flavour. They also have plenty of home made staff as I bought home a jar of her Chilly Jam and a home made locally forged wild Garlic Pesto. Guys the Samusa were banging ! The food experience and the lovely green space away from the city noise was indescribable so I want it to share it :) ”
“ Amazing breakfast naan with a beautiful view. The chilli jam was delicious- they even sell it at the cafe. The staff were all so friendly and warm, and the food was nothing but 12/10. Highly recommended to families and anyone who loves a peaceful view with great food. ”
“ We had another lunch at this lovely, calm place. The food is outstanding and all freshly cooked by the friendly talented owner. We had mackerel samosas, spring rolls and Marsala chips. Frankly, a feast fit for a king. We also took away a butter bean curry with paratha which was equally spectacularly delicious. Really can’t commend this lovely old pavilion enough. ”
“ This is an amazing gem of a cafe. We popped in to grab some samosas and ended up staying for the curry specials. Absolutely delicious. Hands down one of the best curries I’ve eaten, If not THE best. Staff were really friendly and the lovely owner told us how the recipes are much loved family recipes passed to her by her mum. Highly recommend a visit here. You will not be disappointed! ”
“ Wonderful little gem of a place in East Brighton park with the added bonus of superb views and peaceful surroundings. I think their samosas might be the best I've tasted and the ready to go curry dishes to heat and eat at home are exceptional - especially the aubergine curry. Add to all that the sublime coffee, lovely staff and the dog-friendliness and it's just perfect. I highly recommend it! ”
“ The coffee here is next level, very friendly staff feel welcomed as soon as you walk through the door. They make it the proper way, asking if you want sugar added to the coffee before adding the steamed milk. Always a nice touch. Definitely recommend. ”
“ We were staying on the nearby caravan site and had a lovely lunch here. Very nice meal of pea and potato samosas with masala chips. Good value and nice friendly staff. ”
